Move Over October: MOVEMBER Has Arrived

Can anyone believe that we're already in November? This has been a whirlwind of a year for Stitch & Shutter and it's hard to imagine that it's coming to an end. 

For several months, I've been really wanted to do a little something more, to give back through the business and now that November is here, the opportunity has presented itself oh-so-clearly. MOVEMBER FOUNDATION works to improve men's health and specifically focuses on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. 

I started looking into this charity more closely when I found out that an upcoming event at Elle.B Salon (see the EVENTS page for more info) would be helping to raise money for the cause. MOVEMBER started out small in Australia and has grown into a global cause tackling men's health throughout the year, with a major push in November with men "growing their Mo's."

So how's Stitch & Shutter helping the cause? This year, for the entire month of November, S&S will be donating 15% of all sales to MOVEMBER FOUNDATION. November is one of the busiest months for retail, and there's always a major increase in traffic and sales with the upcoming holidays. So start your Christmas shopping now!
