March "Five Things"

Let's embrace the warm weather! Five Things March is a celebration of all things spring!

linen love- I buy very few new articles of clothing each season, generally I get the itch when the weather just starts to shift. There are so many staples in my closet so I like to stick to really special pieces, and handmade is even better. This Linen Kimono Jumpsuit from Etsy shop OFFON is a custom made dream. I bought mine in black but I totally want it in beige as well to feel extra spring-y.

appetizing bites- Move over cheese and crackers, there's a new starter in town. I am admittedly obsessed with these Sundried Tomato Polenta Bites from Recipe Girl. When sundried tomatoes and goat cheese are two of your favorite things, what's not to love? I make this recipe even quicker by using Ancient Harvest GF Polenta & even a store bought dairy-free pesto when I'm really crunched for time.

tidy up- I know, I know, you hear about this book all the time (it's just so good)! Spring cleaning is the perfect time to really implement Kondo's tips in The Life-Changing Magic... because that warm weather shift makes it such a motivating time of year. I don't know about you, but decluttering to live in a neat, minimal space does WONDERS for my sense of calm and keeps me feeling insanely motivated to tackle any task.

for "plantspiration"- Get those living spaces spring ready with plant tips from The Sill. The site is full of plant care articles, access to plant experts, and a web shop where you can shop plants by category (from low light to pet friendly and best for beginners). They even do plant workshops at their store locations in NYC. The Sill believes "Plants Make People Happy" and I certainly tend to agree.

patio jams- So you've got your indoor and outdoor spaces tidied up, plants in place, and a great outfit to host in. Now it's time to enjoy with friends!
